International Agreements Administrator
Penn State Global's Partnership Agreements team is seeking candidates for a full‑time International Agreements Administrator (IAA) position. The individual will serve as a key resource for advising faculty members and administrators interested in initiating an international partnership agreement.
Responsibilities- Accept and review International Agreement Proposals and prepare draft agreements between Penn State and international partners.
- Facilitate the review, approval, and signing of agreements, ensuring all required terminology is included.
- Steward reviews of partner‑proposed agreements to ensure Penn State terms and conditions are incorporated.
- Track agreement statuses, monitor timelines, and maintain records in the central agreement database to ensure procedural efficiency.
- Coordinate with Central Procurement, Export Compliance, General Counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure all pending agreements comply with Penn State policies and are approved by the appropriate regulatory offices before signing.
- Contribute to the annual report of international agreements and prepare ad‑hoc analytical reports on agreement and partnership activity.
- Support data manipulation, analysis, and visualization as assigned.
- Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Preferred:
Experience working with legal documentation or contracts, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating international agreements while ensuring compliance with policy and applicable regulations. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
- Familiarity with academic policies in a higher‑education institution and standard office automation software.
- Experience with data manipulation and document management using Excel or CRMs is preferred.
