Position Information

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

The Facilities Department is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented On-Call Painter to join our team. This role will support ongoing maintenance and improvement projects across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have basic painting experience, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Prior painting experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Willingness to work flexible, on-call hours (up to 25 per week).
• Perform interior and exterior painting, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming as needed.
• Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with minor repairs and touch-ups as directed by the Facilities Supervisor.
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Preferred qualifications may include additional experience or certifications in painting techniques.
