Essential Duties
:
- Facilitate activities in a variety of different learning environments using pedagogical approaches including lectures, small group discussions, patient or healthcare professional role play, simulations and patient care discussion
- Evaluate student performance and learning when applicable consistent with course requirements
- Prepare and deliver class sessions to Doctor of Pharmacy and other health professional learners
- Complete responsibilities of course team leaders, if applicable, including the above in addition to developing and managing syllabus materials, coordinating course needs with departmental chair, submitting grades in a timely manner per university policy, and reporting student learning outcomes
- Perform other related duties as assigned by either the Chair or faculty course coordinator/team leader
Secondary Responsibilities:
Interacting with other members of the instructional team.Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum BS degree with exceptional professional experience.
- Professional experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pharm
D, MS or equivalent terminal degree preferred. - PGY1 residency trained or equivalent practice or teaching experience
