** The base pay scale for this position is $33.14 - $34.13. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.

*** Medical Assistant
- Long Island Outpatient Center:
Uniondale, NY
**** Pre-surgical Screening & Physician Practice
**** Monday – Friday (7:30am - 3:45p.m.)
** Working under the supervision of a MD or Registered Nurse, you will provide care to patients in our
*** modern, newly constructed physician office setting***.  Begin your workday by walking through an art gallery at the Omni Building.  Finish the day in close proximity to museums, restaurants, shopping, and universities.

* Minimum Requirements:

*** A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and be a Certified Medical Assistant
* 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant/Nursing Technician/EMT or Military Corpsman with minimum 1 year experience in orthopedic practice or other surgical subspecialty in an ambulatory setting.
* BLS Certification
