Location:

** What You’ll Be Doing:
*** The safety and health of the employee takes precedence over any other duties of this job.
* Responsible for a safe and clean work area.
* Performs all responsibilities in a manner which ensures that the quality expectations of every customer (internal and external) are met or exceeded and that continuous improvement is achieved.
* Knows, understands, and follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the position.
* Monitors a group of machines to ensure quality of production and systematically makes process adjustments to correct any product defects.
* Responsible for optimization of the processes in terms of dimensional stability, key process parameters, etc.
* Maintains optimal operation results in terms of quality, efficiency, housekeeping, and utilization of assigned personnel within an assigned group of machines.
* Responsible for dimensional compliance of parts utilizing precision equipment. Understands and applies SPC and SQC techniques for continual process and product quality improvement.
* Familiarity with all aspects set-up and changeover of plastic processing equipment and associated secondary equipment. (e.g. Cutters, Haul off/Puller, Cooling & Vacuum Tanks, etc.)
* Instructs and/or trains new Tech’s as directed.
* Responsible for daily operational PM on assigned machinery and equipment. Substitutes for the Shift Supervisor when required.
* Assists Engineering and other support groups in new product start-ups.
* Responsible for timely and accurately reporting production information. Trained in performing each different job position necessary to operate the various lines in the manufacturing department.
* Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
