PositionMaintenance Technician (luxurious property located in Union, NJ).
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in multi‑family residential maintenance.
Responsibilities- Efficiently complete all daily work orders within 24 hours. Communicate any delays in completing a work order with the supervisor and management office.
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, A/C, HVAC, appliances and carpentry.
- Work with leasing staff to ensure all make‑ready repairs and services are completed and on schedule.
- Respond to after‑hours on‑call emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance, building mechanicals, service requests, and apartment make‑ready status.
- Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards.
- Assist with trash removal. Maintain trash rooms and dumpster areas.
- Assist in proper clearing of snow during a snow event.
- Coordinate workshop inventory with the maintenance supervisor.
- High School or GED education.
- 1–3 years of direct experience as a Maintenance Technician or related field.
- Reliable transportation and ability to respond to on‑call emergencies.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance maintenance, and snow removal.
- Exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
- Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor. Customer‑first attitude.
- Proactive self‑starter and team player.
- Availability for weekend inspections and weekday evening resident meetings, as necessary.
- Ability to professionally communicate with residents and staff.

Salary: $27 per hour.
