Description

The dietitian plans, directs, and provides nutritional care to patients and conducts nutrition assessments. The dietitian offers education to patients and family members, performs in‑service training, and provides training to food service and other departments as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, foods and nutrition.
• Alaska Dietitian License within 6 months (180 days) of hire. Or
• Alaska Nutritionist License within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.

• Master's Degree in Dietetics or nutrition science.
• 2 years of hospital inpatient experience.
• Experience working with adult/geriatric population.
