Project Manager – Industrial Machinery & Mechanical Systems
$130,000 to $150,000 + Retirement
Lead full-cycle industrial machinery projects from design through fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning. This position manages heavy mechanical systems, process equipment, and large engineered assemblies—not digital or information systems work. The focus is on physical equipment, precision fabrication, and coordinated field execution.
ResponsibilitiesManage scope, budget, and schedule for complex mechanical equipment projects. Direct engineering, fabrication, and field installation teams. Coordinate vendors, contractors, and customers through every phase of project delivery. Control costs, enforce specifications, and ensure performance standards are met. Maintain compliance with corporate, safety, and QA/QC requirements. Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
Requirements- US Citizenship or Green Card required
. - Bachelor’s degree, with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience with capital equipment including rotating equipment like compressors, pumps or turbines, or complex mechanical process systems.
- Proven success managing budgets, vendors, timelines, and customer relationships for heavy industrial mechanical builds.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with demonstratable expertise delivering complex engineered systems from concept to commissioning.
