We are:The Brand and Marketing Creative Team at Flodesk shapes and elevates the Flodesk brand across everything we do — from brand standards and design systems to campaigns, product experiences, events, and IRL moments. We bring the Flodesk story to life across every touchpoint.
We collaborate with teams across Flodesk and with external partners to ensure the quality and consistency of the brand experience — in person, in product, and everywhere in between. We develop the creative vision and strategy for diverse projects and audiences, and amplify them across digital and physical channels.
What you’ll do:The Senior Creative Brand Designer (Design Systems), reporting directly to the Creative Design Lead, is the person who makes sure the Flodesk brand is not only beautiful—but cohesive, scalable, and consistently applied everywhere it shows up. You'll own and evolve the systems and infrastructure behind the brand, while also doing hands‑on creative work every day.
Responsibilities:- Brand Ownership:
- Own and evolve Flodesk’s brand design system: typography, color, layout grids, component libraries, iconography, illustration styles, and usage guidelines—all maintained as shared Figma libraries with clear documentation
- Collaborate with the engineering and product designers to ensure seamless visual continuity between the Flodesk brand and our product UI
- Champion brand consistency across the organization—onboarding freelancers, contractors, and agencies into the system and acting as the go‑to resource for brand standards
- Mentor and inspire designers, fostering a collaborative and continuously improving creative culture
- Brand Design:
- Create and maintain reusable templates and brand assets that empower marketing, social, and cross‑functional teams to move quickly without sacrificing quality
- Design brand and marketing assets across all channels: website, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, paid media, presentations, event materials, packaging, and print
- Contribute to GTM campaigns with polished creative that supports product launches, feature announcements, and seasonal initiatives
- Design and deliver Flodesk emails—campaigns, newsletters, and onboarding sequences—and refine our in‑product layout and template libraries for emails, forms, and Checkouts
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand design, with at least 2–3 years in‑house at a tech or SaaS company
- Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, or significantly contributing to a brand design system—not just using one, but actually shaping it
- A strong portfolio showcasing both systematic design work (brand guidelines, component libraries, template systems, documentation) and high‑quality creative execution (campaigns, web, social, etc.)
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe is a must (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign—and ideally After Effects or Premiere for light motion/video work)
- Solid visual design skills grounded in typography, layout, color theory, and graphic design fundamentals
- Strong email design experience. You'll design emails that represent the Flodesk brand and create templates used by millions of small business owners—beautiful across clients and devices, flexible, editable, and always on‑brand
- Excellent understanding of how to design for digital channels—web, email, social, advertising—with an eye for responsiveness and accessibility
