Vaco is currently looking for a Senior Tax Accountant for a reputable and growing company near Union, NJ.
Responsibilities- Provide a full range of tax services including federal, multi-state, local, payroll, and sales tax returns.
- Closing of businesses and mergers/acquisitions of new business.
- Prepare complex tax returns and financial statements.
- Manage account reconciliations.
- Participate in tax planning and maintain direct client contact.
- Assist with month‑end close and year‑end processes.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
- Experience with CCH Axcess or CCH Engagement software is a plus.
- Public and/or Big 4 experience preferred.
- CPA or CPA track ideal.
