What You’ll DoAs an HR Generalist, you’ll manage and deliver HR and recruiting programs for assigned business groups while supporting day-to-day people operations. Your impact will be felt across employee relations, performance management, compliance, and high-volume recruiting.
Key Responsibilities Include- Serve as a visible HR presence, actively engaging employees on the production, distribution, and warehouse floor
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Respond to employee relations questions and concerns, conducting investigations as needed and resolving or escalating appropriately
- Support and ensure effective execution of the performance management process
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume hourly factory roles, from job posting through offer
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective job profiles
- Coordinate onboarding, associate engagement initiatives, benefits support, and HR communications
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.)
- Track HR and recruiting metrics and provide regular updates and reports
- Partner with external recruiting agencies as needed for specialized hiring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, and high-volume recruiting
- Hands‑on experience with ATS platforms, online recruiting tools, and sourcing strategies
- Experience conducting EEO/harassment investigations and resolving workplace complaints
- Strong working knowledge of HR and employment laws and best practices
- High level of integrity and professionalism with confidential information
- Confident problem‑saver who can navigate complex and sensitive situations
- Proven success managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with leaders and team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
- Reliable attendance and readiness to support onsite operations
Physical Requirements
- Combination of office work and frequent time spent in manufacturing/production areas
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
- Repetitive motion (typing, mouse use)
- Occasional lifting of office materials
- Occasional travel to other company locations or recruitment events
