Schedule:
PRN/As Needed
As a Behavioral Technician ( Internal title: Community Living Instructor BHCC) at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), you’ll ensure individuals receive the care, comfort, and support they need during a behavioral health crisis. Working under the supervision of the Triage Clinician Lead, you’ll play an important role in maintaining safety, assisting with daily needs, and helping people feel supported and valued during a difficult time.

Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centered support to individuals during crisis, ensuring daily needs are met
Monitor safety and engage with individuals to create a supportive environment
Participate in medication administration (following L1MA training)
Share observations and feedback with the treatment team to enhance care
Assist in keeping the BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming
Act as a mentor to new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School/GED preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least one (1) year of psychiatric, nursing, or emergency room work experience preferred
• A valid unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage
