** Job Details:
**** SUMMARY**:

The Supervisor Production plays a key role in leading daily operations to ensure high production levels, strong yields, consistent quality, and a safe working environment. This role requires a solid understanding of the production process, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate staffing and workflow effectively.##
** Key Responsibilities**###
** Production & Operations
*** Review daily production orders to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Confirm all positions are staffed before production line start‑up.
* Monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
* Maintain accurate production records and oversee general line maintenance.
* Ensure all workstations pass USDA Inspection before operations begin.###
** Team Leadership & Development
*** Lead Team Member morning exercises and manage job rotation to support ergonomics.
* Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
* Provide coaching, encouragement, and support to build an engaged, high‑performing team.
* Conduct training, retention efforts, and counseling for personal and professional matters.###
** Safety & Compliance
*** Promote daily safety awareness and conduct monthly safety meetings.
* Support compliance with all company, USDA, and food safety standards.###
** Quality & Inventory Management
*** Ensure proper product coding, accurate shipments, and correct rotation of inventory.
* Track reworked or returned product and maintain required documentation.
* Reinforce the importance of quality through continuous education.###
** Collaboration & Problem-Solving
*** Work closely with other supervisors to identify and solve operational issues.
* Support various processing operations as needed and assist with additional duties as they arise.
** REQUIREMENTS**:  
** Education**:
High school diploma; education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred.  
** Computer Skills**:
Basic computer skills helpful.  
** Communication Skills**:
Strong communication skills.  
** Supervisory**:
This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.  
** Travel**: 1-5 trips per year.
