Overview
About The Role We are looking for a detail oriented and people-focused Front Office Manager to join our expanding team. You’ll be managing all of our frontdesk workflows, including patient scheduling and management, accounts receivables, inventory order placement and more. You’ll become an expert at navigating our frontdesk and backdesk software, will be the first and last touchpoint with all patients (ensuring excellent service quality), and ensure the frontdesk operations are running smoothly.

- End-to-end frontdesk operations management
- Patient scheduling and management — ensuring all patients receive excellent, professional and friendly service from start to finish
- Insurance management — from applications to payment submissions, up through credentialing new doctors
- Supervise a portion of the team to support quality control and maintain orderly workflows for medical POS and insurance management
- Accounts receivables — ensure AR is managed in an organized and safe manner
- Accounts payable — work with the back office team to order essential dental supplies
- Collaborate with leadership on workflow optimizations
- Ad hoc duties that arise during expansion
- 4-7 years of frontdesk experience
- >3 years working with insurances, including claim submissions, pre-authorization submissions, checking patient eligibility and benefits, and credentialing
- >1 year in a supervisory role — ensuring your team is well trained and workflows are being maintained
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate to expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite — primarily Word and Excel
- People-person who can handle challenging situations with a level head and professionalism
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Detail oriented and highly organized, managing several workflows in tandem
- Team player in a lean team environment
- Reliable
- Experience with Eagle Soft
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Experience with operatory treatment setup and understanding of standard clinical procedures
- X-ray license, or experience taking X-rays
