This is a full-time on-site role for a WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator located in Union City, NJ. The WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating breastfeeding education and support services, conducting assessments, developing breastfeeding plans, and providing counseling to WIC participants.
Qualifications- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required
- Knowledge of breastfeeding best practices and techniques
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing breastfeeding plans
- Strong counseling and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
- Experience working in a community health or WIC program
- Must be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
