- Perform high‑quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
- Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
- Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
- Use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments on the equipment to produce high‑quality images.
- Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly explaining steps and answering their questions.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information with competence.
- Safeguard onsite medications according to company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
- Show respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgment in all situations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, guests, and colleagues.
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing work with a structured approach and enjoy solving complex problems.
- ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
- BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
