The facility in Newark, New Jersey seeks a locum tenens Transplant Pulmonologist for coverage beginning in March. The position requires New Jersey medical licensure and active board certification. The facility provides comprehensive pulmonology services with specialized transplant capabilities.

New Jersey offers diverse attractions ranging from the Atlantic City Boardwalk and casinos to theme parks like Six Flags Great Adventure. The clinician will provide transplant pulmonology coverage working 24-hour shifts with alternating weekly schedules between inpatient care with call responsibilities and outpatient clinic duties. Call requirements include weeknight and weekend coverage. The position requires performing procedures including bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement. Candidates must have completed transplant training and maintain active board certification.
