Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

It s more than a job. As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you contribute to the success of your team and to the day-to-day operations in the warehouse and distribution centres. Example: storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations.

As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our distribution center in Union City, Georgia, you will lead a team and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure full and efficient operation of your assigned area. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace. The typical shift is Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

• Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies
• Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
• Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs
• Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 2 or more years in a supervisory role
• At least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
