UFP Industries is seeking driven individuals to join our Production Management Trainee (PMT) Program — a launchpad for future leaders in our manufacturing operations. You’ll begin your journey in Union City, GA, gaining hands‑on experience, leadership skills, and deep knowledge of our business.

Over time, you’ll be prepared to step into key leadership roles across our southeastern operations.

• Participate in structured, hands‑on training across all aspects of plant operations
• Learn product lines, production processes, safety standards, and business systems
• Gain deep understanding of lumber grading, math, efficiency, cuts, and yields
• Assist with production scheduling, cost tracking, and budget management
• Support team supervision and ensure compliance with company policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Rotate through UFP facilities and customer sites for broad exposure
• Complete required training modules, projects, and reports

• Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial operations, supply chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
• Willingness to relocate within GA, FL, or NC for future roles
• Interest in operations leadership and a desire to grow within UFP
