Caseload/Details:
Spindle Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work with a school in Union City, California. This part-time contract position involves providing support to an elementary student with specific care needs, including Diabetes, G-Tube feeding, and Tracheostomy care. The LVN will be responsible for general nursing duties and offering 1:1 care to the student.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general LVN duties in a school setting
- Offer 1:1 support to an elementary student with specific care needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and manage Diabetes care for the student
- Assist with G-Tube feeding and Tracheostomy care as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Needed Credentials:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of California
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Previous experience supporting students with Diabetes, G-Tube feeding, and Tracheostomy care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
