You will work independently and be responsible for the set up and operation of a press machine producing packaging products in bag or roll stock form (per customer preference).

• Operates a press, including setting‑up, running jobs, and monitoring inks quality and usage.
• Maintains efficient machine operating speeds and minimizes waste.
• Compares samples of the machine against specifications on the job envelope to ensure proper set‑up.
• Proofreads a sample produced using the sample provided and the instructions on the job envelope.
• Checks print quality continually during the shift, taking corrective action as required.
• Checks plates are clean during the printing run, and ensures plates are clean when returned to the Mounting Department after the press run.
• Maintains the equipment in great condition & always practices safe operating procedures.
• Schedule:
  
  Must be able to work 12‑hour rotating shift (two days on, two days off with opportunities for additional overtime).
• Your work will be overseen by the supervisor & department manager for support.

• Graveyard: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am on a rotating schedule
• Day: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm on a rotating schedule

Pay: $23.55 per hour with increases per scale
Pay Range: $23.55 – $27.51
