Position: OPS - Maintenance Mechanic - 6062

* Job Purpose:

** Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.

Qualifications:

*** Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
* Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
* Examines form and texture or parts to detect imperfections.
* Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
* Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
* Repairs or replace defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
* Lubricates and cleans parts.
* Starts devices to test perform
** Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*** Minimum 2 years of related experience
* Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
* Upbeat and friendly personality.
* Ability to write correspondence.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
* Ability to operate various office machines and computers. o Bi-lingual preferred, but not required (ability to speak Spanish).
* Proficient in computer applications and software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
* Candidates should have their own tools.
* Pay rate is $40.33/hr.
