What is VDC/BIM and what do we look for in candidates?

Building Information Management to Virtual Design and Construction, every project that comes through Southland Industries is streamlined with the latest in BIM/VDC technology to increase productivity, efficiencies in the field, deliver on owner expectations, and encourage the sharing of ideas with our Design-Build experts to offer complete services that span the building lifecycle.

You can be an integral part of the success of our divisional engineering and detailing teams as we apply LEAN principles to our engineering and detailing processes. Southland is one of the first in our industry to implement a centralized VDC/BIM structure to support our design/build divisions across the country. Join us on our journey as a leader in the use of virtual design and construction and building information modeling technologies.

What roles do we have on our VDC/BIM team?
