Responsibilities:

Effective organization of daily tasks (Time management, planning administration and reporting skills, meeting deadlines).

Numerical accuracy.

Correspond with SARS consultants.

Assist with SARS and general tax queries.

Assist with ad hoc tax tasks.

Must have a good understanding of the SARS procedures.

Must have good problem-solving skills, communication skills and be client-service orientated.

The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure with deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, while delivering exceptional quality work.

Qualifications and

Experience:

Grade 12.

3-5 years experience in this role.

Tax: 3 years experience.

SAIPA qualified.

Experience in completion of income tax returns.

Degree in taxation or equivalent.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Technical knowledge related to job:
Knowledge of the South African Income Tax.

Excellent communications skills.

SARS E-filing experience.
