Finance Manager – Sales, Marketing & Exports

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Finance Manager – Sales, Marketing & Exports at a leading FMCG business in Umhlanga (With weekly travel to Amanzimtoti). In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive financial insight, improve business performance, and deliver strategic value across multiple divisions.

This is an ideal position for a qualified finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys collaborating with dynamic, cross-functional teams.

• 🔹 Oversee all financial processes related to Sales, Marketing, and Exports
• 🔹 Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports (Actual vs Budget)
• 🔹 Manage product costing updates and analyse category and brand profitability
• 🔹 Oversee advertising and promotional spend analysis and ROI reporting
• 🔹 Support Sales teams with pricing, margin, and budget forecasting
• 🔹 Manage local and export debtors
• 🔹 Drive process improvement within Syspro systems and reporting
• 🔹 Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to optimise commercial decision-making
• 🔹 Support new product innovation, exports, and special project costings
• 🔹 Assist in price increase justification and profitability evaluations

• ✅ Qualified CIMA or CA (SA)
• ✅ 8–10 years of experience as a brand/category/sales finance business partner
• ✅ Strong Syspro/SAP ERP and Excel skills
• ✅ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• ✅ Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across teams
• ✅ Highly organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
• ✅ Strong commercial mindset with a hands-on, proactive attitude
• ✅ Ability to work under pressure in a high-performance environment
