Job Description

Two Rivers Correctional Institution – Umatilla, Oregon. The Behavioral Health Services team brings innovative and creative experiences and compassionate individualized treatment to the clients in care.

Responsibilities
  • Initial identification/Assessments of all mentally ill and developmentally disabled AICs
  • Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention assessments
  • Case Management, Treatment Services, and Records Management
  • Release Planning and Consultation with other treatment teams
  • Group Facilitation and training of staff
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, art therapy, music therapy, or behavioral health science; OR
  • Current Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing AND licensed by the State of Oregon; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy AND licensed by the State of Oregon; OR
  • Qualified Mental Health Intern as defined in OAR (61)

Working Conditions

This full-time position is at Umatilla at the Two Rivers Correctional Institution. You will work in close contact with adults in custody and may be exposed to hostile situations. Exposure to chemicals, radiation, communicable disease, or other hazards inherent in a health care facility and correctional setting is likely. Shifts may include early, late, and weekend shifts; work inside a 24/7 facility.
