Middle School Science Teacher:
Candidates must be K-9 Elementary Certified and/or 6-12 Science Certified in the state of Kansas or eligible for certification in Kansas. Under the direction and supervision of the Principal or designee, the candidate will plan instruction, teach, differentiate instruction, motivate, inspire, and assess students in science. The candidate will develop and promote a high-quality, personalized education program that aligns with the Kansas State Content Standards for Middle School Science.

Ulysses USD 214 is located in Grant County. Ulysses, KS, is centrally located to Kansas City, Denver, Wichita, Colorado Springs, Amarillo, and Pueblo. The district has two elementary schools (a pre‑K‑2 primary school and a 3‑5 elementary school), one middle school, and one high school. There are approximately 1,400 students in grades pre‑K through 12th, and a teaching staff of approximately 100 teachers.

- $47,000 base starting pay (teacher) for the 2023‑2024 school year, plus a single health plan.
