9-12 ELA Teacher (position is associated with Yearbook) at Ulysses High School

Ulysses High School ELA Candidates need to be 6-12 ELA Certified in the state of Kansas or eligible for certification in the State of Kansas (other Kansas Teaching Certificates will be considered for the position). Under the direction and supervision of the Principal or designee, the candidate will plan instruction, teach, differentiate instruction, motivate, inspire and assess students in math. The candidate will promote a high-quality, personalized education program that reflects the Kansas State Content Standards for High School English Language Arts.

Ulysses USD 214 is looking for candidate that display excellent oral and communication skills. Coaching Positions are available

• Up to $150/month student loan repayment options for first-year teachers.
• $47,000 base starting pay (teacher) for the  school year, plus a single health plan.
• $25 per year to 403b retirement contribution by the district.
• Teacher Mentoring program in place.

Starting salary for a 1st-year teacher is $48,1500. We accept years of experience from veteran teachers.
