Position: Production Operative
Production Operative
£NMW - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Full time, 5 days per week Permanent

At Playdale Playgrounds we are a dynamic, international business currently in over 50 countries, who design, manufacture, and install fun, exciting, outdoor playground equipment. We pride ourselves on creating exciting, innovative, and educational outdoor play equipment that makes children smile all over the world.
Due to current growth, we have a vacancy for a Production Operative based at our site in Ulverston, with further opportunity for the right individual to grow and develop into more advanced operator roles.

The Role:

• Assembling a range of different parts and materials into the finished items.

• Use of hand tools. (Drills, Drivers, ratchets, etc).

• Work to detailed drawings and instructions.

• Providing cover and assistance on other operator tasks such and product cleaning, packaging and some basic machine operation.

• Carry out continuous improvement, Health & Safety and production maintenance activities.

• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team

• Ensure all documentation is correctly actioned for accuracy.

• Maintaining good housekeeping standards.

About You:

• Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.

• Experience in assembly works desirable.

• Ability to read and work from engineering drawing.

• The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and good work ethic is essential.

• Must have the ability to undertake manual handling duties

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fork-Lift experience is desirable but not essential.

• Health & Safety awareness.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Ulverston factory (38 hrs per week, with a 12.45pm finish each Friday) Click apply or visit our careers page via our website
