Workshop Supervisor

Due to an increase in workload throughout our fabrication workshop, we are looking for a Workshop Supervisor. The successful candidate will work from technical drawings or verbal descriptions supplied by our management team and have a flexible approach to additional working hours to meet the demands of production.

• Track jobs through the production process at each stage or build
• Control drawing documentation to ensure all drawings are issued, returned and cross‑referenced to manufactured sections
• Control high value consumables
• Manage project material ordering process for just‑in‑time deliveries
• Raise non‑conformance records & investigate issues
• Conduct quality checks of fabricated steel sections

• Proficient with MS Office 365, written reports and documentation
• Proven experience with steel fabrication workshop procedures
• Experience with steel sections & terminologies
• Experience of fabrication & welding
• Experience with fabrication drawings
• Methodical approach to work & able to self‑check and identify own omissions
• Motivated and driven

£40,000

Ulverston, Cumbria

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
