Pay: £12.67 per hour, 18 hours a week.

Contract: 6‑month, with potential to extend.

Location: Ulverston, Cumbria, Region Ulverston.

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our excellent housekeeping team.

We are looking for an efficient temporary Housekeeper to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hospice.

You will work alongside other teams as well as visitors, patients and volunteers in all areas of the hospice; effective communication skills are essential.

Compassion, confidentiality and a caring attitude are also required.

There is potential for the role to extend beyond six months and transition to permanent hours.

St Marys Hospice is a charity providing specialist palliative, supportive and end‑of‑life care for people with advanced illness and their families.

We operate a 6‑8 bedded in‑patient unit, a hospice‑at‑home service and offers bereavement support, living‑well therapies and educational programmes for local health‑and‑social‑care workers.
