Veterinarian - Base Salary Negotiable with Production (New Grads Welcome)We are seeking a diligent and composed veterinarian to join our team. As a veterinarian, you will diagnose illnesses, administer vaccinations, perform surgeries, and offer preventive care to ensure the health and well-being of our patients. Additionally, you will educate pet owners on proper nutrition, exercise, and overall pet care to promote responsible pet ownership.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess their health status.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions in animals.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as spaying, neutering, and tumor removal.
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary.
- Vaccinate animals against common diseases and provide preventive care.
- Advise pet owners on proper nutrition, exercise, and grooming techniques.
- Educate clients on zoonotic diseases and preventive measures to protect both animals and humans.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other team members to ensure efficient patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education seminars as required.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid state license to practice veterinary medicine.
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
- Compassion for animals and their owners.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
