RN (L&D) - Full-Time, Night Shift - Ukiah Valley at Adventist Health. Adventist Health Ukiah Valley has been deeply connected to the community we serve since 1956. We are comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center and advanced wound care center.

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Job Responsibilities- Provide coordinated nursing care for patients following established standards of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in care delivery.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, healing, and caring environment.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN):
Preferred - Acute care facility experience:

- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice:
Required - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification:

- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP):
Required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream ACLS (HS-ACLS) or RQI ACLS:

- Collects relevant data, analyzes assessment information, develops and implements a care plan, coordinates care delivery, promotes health and safety, evaluates progress, and identifies patient outcomes.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring care; provides learning opportunities; communicates health information to patients and treatment team.
- Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of the healthcare team.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
