Job Description

RMG Medical Imaging Consultants is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to join our growing team in Ukiah Valley, Adventist Health
. This role interprets all major imaging modalities, collaborates with clinical teams, and provides consultation within a hospital environment. The position offers onsite clinical work with limited remote reading flexibility, and compensation models are available for W-2 employees or independent contractors.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, communicative, and comfortable working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging across major modalities including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI
  • Perform light interventional procedures (e.g., biopsies, drainages, thoracentesis, paracentesis), as needed
  • Provide inpatient and consultation services to referring clinicians
  • Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and clinical leadership
  • Participate in education and best-practice imaging workflows
  • Utilize advanced imaging technologies to support accurate diagnostic outcomes
  • Contribute to community-focused imaging excellence through high-quality reads and patient-first care
Basic Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Valid California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid DEA & Radiation Health License (RHL)
  • Proficiency in general radiology modalities including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI
  • Ability to perform light interventional procedures (biopsies, drainages, thoracentesis, paracentesis)
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
Preferred Qualifications
  • MQSA certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in hospital-based diagnostic radiology settings
  • Familiarity with tele-radiology workflows and advanced imaging platforms
  • Experience with Cerner EMR, Power Scribe 360 dictation, and Mach 7 PACS is a plus
  • Recent and active clinical practice with current references
Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation Range: $500,000 – $800,000 annually (commensurate with experience, schedule, and model)
  • Structure: Base salary + RVU compensation available (production-based pay)
  • Compensation models may vary for W-2 and 1099 arrangements.
