Transport Administrator

Here in GXO Swindon (SN5), we’re working together with Iceland Foods and on the look‑out for a Transport Administrator to join our fast‑paced transport office. You’ll be working on a full‑time
, permanent basis, on a 4 on 4 off pattern, covering the hours of 19:00 to 07:00
.

• Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
• Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management
• Drivers brief and de‑briefing as well as data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPI’S
• Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner

• Previous experience in transport environment essential
• Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster
• Working with Food Safety standard experience preferred but not essential
• IT literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
