Class 1 HGV Driver; CE

Class 1 HGV Driver (CE) West Bromwich £16.00 per hour | £24.00 per hour after 8 hours Monday to Friday | 40-50 hours per week Immediate Starts Available The Best Connection West Bromwich is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 (CE) HGV Driver to join our reputable client based in the heart of West Bromwich.

Ongoing shifts are available.

You will be responsible for delivering aluminium trunking to electrical wholesalers and building sites across the UK.

• 2-5 deliveries per day nationwide
• Opening and closing curtains and securing loads (FLT used for unloading)
• Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday
• No weekend work and no nights out
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
• Completing regular vehicle checks

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Curtain-side trailer experience (preferred)
• Experience using straps to secure loads (advantageous)

• £16.00 per hour
• £24.00 per hour after 8 hours worked per day
