LGV Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver

We are looking to recruit a LGV Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver. Experience in this field would be preferred but is not essential. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Full time position with competitive hourly rates paid.

• Hold a Class 2 LGV Licence and capable of driving a skip lorry.
• Must have an up-to-date Driver CPC.
• Loading and unloading of skips of various sizes at a variety of different locations.
• Professional approach to both the job and customer.
• Complete daily vehicle check sheets and defect reports.
• Manual handling is involved and a large part of the role is based outdoors.

• Be willing to attend training and work within Health and Safety Guidelines.
• Have a good understanding of driver’s hours regulations, transport legislation and good geographical knowledge of Norfolk.
• Have a positive and flexible attitude.
• Good communication, cooperation and team working skills.
• Have strong work ethic, be self-motivated with good problem-solving skills.
• Openness and interest in learning and developing.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Own transport is required as location is not convenient for public transport.
