Class 1 Driver Days

Location: Normanton, WF6 1RW

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7am/ 8am start

Pay Rate: £15.96 per hour

We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Day Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate and will involve the loading / unloading roll cages filled with customer car parts.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

ADR is preferred but not essential

• Car part deliveries between customer sites, making collections and cage pulling when required.
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
• Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

• HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Class 1 and multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude.
