Salary of the HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Transporter Driver / HGV Driver / Transporter Driver / Class 1 Transporter Driver: 45,000 - 55,000 + Negotiable for experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Transporter Driver / HGV Driver / Transporter Driver / Class 1 Transporter Driver to join my clients team in Bridgend.

The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.

for HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Transporter Driver / HGV Driver / Transporter Driver / Class 1 Transporter Driver:

• Dealing with driver queries.
• Coordinating drivers, vehicles and movements on site
• Experience with Driving Transporters
• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Liaising with Workshop for vehicle services.
• Liaising with vehicle swaps regarding traffic flow and movements at peak times.
• Ensuring site speed restrictions and rules are enforced.
• Quality checking driver vehicles / standards.
• Ensuring site traffic flows and pinch points on site are kept clear and remain functional.
• Loading and unloading of vehicle transporters and recovery trucks.
• Excellent communication skills / Good interpersonal skills.
• Good team working skills.
• Good general knowledge of vehicles.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach on site.
• Driving license.
