About the Role:

Driver Hire Norwich is actively recruiting HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers for a long-term contract with a prestigious client in the food logistics sector. You'll be operating food‑grade tankers across Norfolk completing drop and swap trunk runs. Tanker experience is not essential as full training will be provided, you will not be responsible for loading / discharge of the tankers.

• Monday to Friday Days / Nights – start times can be flexible.

• £18 per hour (Umbrella Assignment Rate)
• Enhanced rate for Nights
• PAYE Pay Schemes Available
• Minimum Guaranteed Hours Paid
• Full training provided – ideal for drivers looking to transition into tanker work or upskill
• Ongoing long‑term contract – consistent work and income

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
• 12 months' experience preferred – but not essential for the right candidate
• No more than 6 points (No CD, IN, DD or DR endorsements)
• Strong understanding of Driver Hours & WTR regulations
