HGV Class 2 Driver – AM Shifts – Tamworth People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, consistent Monday to Friday work, and long-term ongoing opportunities. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 04:00 and 06:00 Rates of Pay • £16.50 per hour • £25.00 per night out Benefits

• Operating Class 2 (Category

C) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are safely secured
• Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
• Assisting with loading and unloading as required
• Completing 5–10 drops per day, including distance work (up to Carlisle and Cornwall) Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category C driving licence
• Minimum of three months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles
• Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No major endorsement codes
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Punctual with strong time-keeping
• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided
• Driving assessment required prior to start
• One-day paid induction following successful assessment
