This role is Monday to Friday, with the potential for hybrid working.

, Ashford – Driving essential due to rural location.

• Plan daily and weekly delivery schedules to optimise vehicle utilisation and use the most efficient routes.
• Allocate work to drivers and manage rotas, ensuring legal drivers' hours and rest breaks are adhered to.
• Monitor compliance with driving licence and vehicle documentation requirements.
• React to operational issues (delays, vehicle breakdowns, traffic) and re‑route as required.
• Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on performance and compliance.
• Liaise with various teams throughout the company.

• Previous transport planning experience with demonstrable experience planning deliveries.
• Experience managing drivers' hours and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Driving is essential due to the location of the role; must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Strong organising and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good IT skills, including experience with route‑planning/TMS software and Microsoft Excel.
