• HGV Licence (Class 1 or Class
  2) – Valid Category C+E or C licence is essential.
• Driver CPC – Must hold an up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence card.
• Experience – Minimum 1 year of HGV driving experience (preferably delivering heavy/industrial goods).

• Safe Driving & Transport: Operate a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV to safely transport steel (including multi-drop deliveries and collections) to and from customer sites, ensuring all loads are secure.
• Vehicle Checks: Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks, and promptly report any issues.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
• Loading/Unloading: Oversee and assist with the safe loading and unloading of steel, ensuring goods are properly secured to prevent shifting in transit.
• Route Planning: Plan routes and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Documentation & Communication: Complete all necessary paperwork (delivery records, tachograph logs, etc.) and interact professionally with clients and colleagues, providing updates and coordinating pickups as needed.
