Overview

21 hours per week, flexible working arrangements available. The role is largely community based, involving regular travel within the local area, with some duties undertaken from home. Fixed Term until 31st March 2027.

Are you passionate about supporting others and making a genuine difference in your local community? We are looking for a dedicated Carer Link Worker to join our team and provide vital support to unpaid Carers across Badenoch & Strathspey.

• Deliver a locally embedded information and advice service ensuring Carers can access timely, accurate and relevant support close to where they live.
• Act as a key point of contact for Carers seeking guidance or connection, working at the heart of the community.
• Engage in outcome-focused, person-centred conversations to help Carers explore what matters most, identify their needs, and understand available options.
• Develop Adult Carer Support Plans (ACSP) and carry out regular reviews to monitor progress and adapt support as circumstances change.
• Engage actively within the local community, build strong local relationships, raise awareness of carer support, and proactively reach Carers who may not yet be connected to services.
• Collaborate with health, social care, and third sector partners to ensure Carers’ voices, rights and needs are recognised within local planning and service delivery.
