The role

As part of a brilliant team of social workers you will help vulnerable children and young people find a foster home that can transform their future. Your responsibilities will also include supervising and advising foster carers, and ensuring that both carers and children receive the support they need to thrive.

You will regularly visit homes and maintain ongoing communication with both carers and young people, becoming an essential point of contact, while working closely with specialist clinical teams to provide the right support for each case.

Through your passion and commitment you will inspire carers to grow in confidence, help children have a positive impact, and ensure that children and young people remain safe and secure with high standards upheld across all local fostering agencies.

Who खाते you're looking for

You should be passionate about building incredible lives for children, have a BA or MA in social work, and be registered with the appropriate body. A full driving licence is also required. Previous social work experience, with a record of working with young people who have a history of trauma and enhanced needs, is essential.
