Position OverviewWe are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to support the deliver of Open access evening and weekend sessions at Dukeries Young People Centre (NG229HJ
J) for young people aged 10 to 19. Weekday sessions are 6pm to 8.30pm and a Saturday session 11am to 1.30pm. This is a term time only position.
- Build positive relationships with young people aged 10 to 19
- Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session to young people.
- Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification. (Please note this will include some Saturday training estimated 9 Saturday sessions plus some evening training online and in person)
- Be able to be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues
- Be a positive role model to young people
