Location: HMP Littlehey - West Perry, Huntingdon - PE28 0SR

Salary: £40,579.20 inclusive of allowances + 5% shift allowance

Contract: Full Time - Permanent - 39 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Littlehey, a Category C Adult/Male prison. Join a team that works Monday to Sunday as a supportive and driven family, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues from the Facilities Maintenance Team, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the entire prison environment. Your role will involve maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems across the prison, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

• Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
• Two years' experience as a fully qualified electrician
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
