Solar PV & Battery Storage Electrical Engineer

Baskett Electrical Ltd is a renewable energy specialist electrical contractor with long-term contracts across Suffolk

You will be responsible for installing Solar PV/battery storage systems across Suffolk, predominantly on domestic projects, as well as installing EV chargers and some general electrical work.

• Install, test and commission Solar PV/ Battery Storage systems
• Be confident to lead a team and delegate work
• Utilise hand tools and power tools to carry out installations efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project
• Diagnose electrical issues using specialised testing devices and implement effective solutions
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times

• Experienced Electrician/Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in Solar PV and battery storage
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times
• Able to work at height
• Polite, respectful and tidy
• Clean UK driving licence (points and convictions must be declared)

Work is based only in Suffolk, from a head office base near Martlesham
