Salary: £36,000 basic (Neg DOE)

Hours of work: 37.5 Hours Mon-Fri 7.30am-4pm Fri-7.30am-1pm.

Location: MTL Advanced, Rotherham

In the role we are recruiting for, you will be delivering the L3 Plate Welder apprenticeship.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Welder/ Fabricator to pass on their skills to our Apprentices and help to develop the next generation of world class engineers.

• Assist delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to the Apprentices.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new apprentices.
• Instruct and train apprentices in several welding & fabrication techniques.
• Assess apprentices' progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development and improvement.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining workshop standards with respect.
• Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health & Safety policies to ensure optimal functionality and safety for our apprentices.

• Strong & competent welder/fabricator (MIG & TIG).
• Ability to work effectively and use own initiative.
• Ability to lead, manage and train others to achieve desired results.
• Fully conversant with welding, fabrication and able to read engineering drawings.
• Pass an Enhanced DBS check, with the company covering the cost.

Site based, Rotherham.
