Void Technician

Responsibilities

Working within our Voids team, you will be able to turn your hand to a range of tasks such as painting, cleaning, gardening, basic joinery and maintenance.

You will take pride in your work to make sure all tasks are completed quickly and effectively, and will have a passion for being able to help us turn empty houses into modern cosy homes for people who really need one.

Your passion for quality and efficiency will help to maximise the performance of our essential service and meet our Voids standard criteria for each property.

You will be welcomed into a committed, highly motivated and passionate Voids team of around 30 people with a key focus on professionalism and working together to prepare an unoccupied, vacated property ready for someone to make it their home.

We offer employees a very competitive 24 days holiday per annum, plus 3 days for Christmas closure (5 day working week), plus bank holidays, plus additional days after 2 years continuous service (to a maximum of 5 days). We also offer our employees the option to buy/sell up to 5 days extra leave per year.

As a valued member of our DLO, your working day will finish at 4.15pm Monday-Thursday and you will have an early finish on a Friday at 2.30pm. This allows for a great work/life balance for many employees.
